“Well, I notice work usually slows down because people are too busy to fill out forms or write a polished update, so they wait until they have time to make everything sound complete. Then one person is waiting for an approval, somebody else doesn’t realize that decision is blocking them, and by the time it comes up we’ve lost a couple of days. It isn’t usually the work itself. It’s the space between people knowing something and everyone else finding out.
